THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards while maintaining exceptional levels of quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing damaged vehicle body panels using recognised repair techniques.
- Replacing damaged panels and carrying out structural repairs where required.
- Realigning vehicle bodywork and chassis components to manufacturer specifications.
- Using specialist repair equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Working closely with estimators, painters and the wider workshop team to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround.
- Carrying out repairs to the highest quality standards while meeting productivity targets.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a professional Bodyshop team. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair techniques.
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong knowledge of modern accident repair methods and body repair techniques.
- The ability to work efficiently without compromising on quality.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering first-class workmanship.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team.
- A full UK driving licence.
