The Role

As a Bodyshop Assistant Manager, you'll support the day-to-day running of the workshop, helping to ensure repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Bodyshop Manager with daily workshop operations.
  • Assisting with the planning and allocation of repair work to maximise efficiency.
  • Monitoring repair progress and ensuring work is completed on schedule.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Liaising with technicians, estimators, suppliers, and customers where required.
  • Supporting productivity, performance, and compliance within the workshop.
  • Using Autoflow and Audatex to monitor repairs and manage repair processes.
  • Helping drive continuous improvements across the Bodyshop operation.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Bodyshop Assistant Manager, Assistant Bodyshop Manager, Bodyshop Supervisor, Workshop Controller or Vehicle Damage Assessor ready to take the next step in their career. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a busy accident repair or Bodyshop environment.
  • Previous Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience using Autoflow and Audatex.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • A full UK driving licence.
