The Role
As a Level 3 Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, routine maintenance and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Completing brake inspections, repairs and replacements
- Carrying out tyre checks and replacements
- Replacing shock absorbers and suspension components
- Carrying out general mechanical repairs
- Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Completing job cards and relevant paperwork accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
About You
We’re looking for a confident and reliable Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic who is comfortable working independently and takes pride in their workmanship. You’ll ideally have:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience within an automotive workshop
- Strong servicing and routine maintenance experience
- Experience with brakes, tyres and shock absorbers
- Good general mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own tools
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and professional approach to work
