The Role

As a Panel Beater, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Repair damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.
  • Remove and replace damaged body panels where necessary.
  • Carry out panel alignment, welding, and metal finishing work.
  • Restore vehicles to manufacturer and industry quality standards.
  • Work closely with Paint Technicians and MET Technicians to ensure an efficient repair process.
  • Complete repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.

About You

This role would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs. You should have:

  • Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician, or Body Repair Technician.
  • Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of modern body repair techniques and equipment.
  • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.
