THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates and supporting the repair process from initial assessment through to completion. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate estimates and invoices within agreed repair timescales
- Assessing vehicle damage and determining appropriate repair methods
- Managing repair costs and supporting site profitability
- Handling total loss assessments where required
- Reviewing repair methodologies to ensure appropriate repair processes are followed
- Ensuring all estimates and repairs comply with BS10125 standards
- Liaising with customers, insurers and internal teams throughout the repair process
- Identifying and reporting issues that could affect quality, costs or profitability
