THE ROLE

As a Commercial Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for coordinating workshop activity, managing repair schedules and ensuring commercial vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ·Plan and coordinate daily workshop activity to maximise productivity.
  • ·Allocate repairs effectively across technicians based on workload and skill set.
  • ·Monitor repair progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
  • ·Liaise with estimators, parts departments and management to minimise repair delays.
  • ·Support technicians with technical guidance and resolve operational issues where required.
  • ·Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations.
  • ·Maintain accurate workshop records and update job progress accordingly.
  • ·Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring repairs are completed on time and to a high standard.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a proactive leader with strong commercial Bodyshop experience who can motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

You will ideally have:

  • ·Previous experience as a Commercial Bodyshop Workshop Controller, Workshop Controller, Bodyshop Controller or Commercial Vehicle Workshop Supervisor.
  • ·Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle body repairs and workshop processes.
  • ·Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • ·The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • ·Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • ·A commitment to quality, productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • ·A full UK driving licence.
