THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality paint finishes and ensuring vehicles are repaired to manufacturer and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing vehicles and panels for the paint process
- Mixing and colour matching paint accurately
- Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat finishes to a high standard
- Carrying out refinishing work using modern paint systems and equipment
- Inspecting completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards
- Identifying and rectifying paint defects where necessary
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working closely with panel technicians and Bodyshop colleagues to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Paint Sprayer with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Paint Refinisher
- Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience working within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre environment
- Strong knowledge of paint application techniques and colour matching
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
