THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring all paintwork is completed efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing vehicle surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, filling, masking, and priming.
- Mixing and applying paint using appropriate spray equipment and techniques.
- Carrying out colour matching, blending, and refinishing work to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Inspecting completed paintwork and rectifying imperfections where required.
- Working closely with Panel Beaters and other Bodyshop technicians to maintain an efficient repair process.
- Completing allocated repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship.
- Following relevant health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents, and workshop equipment.
