Responsibilities
- Process manufacturer warranty, extended warranty and goodwill claims accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all warranty submissions comply with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.
- Invoice warranty and goodwill work correctly and within required timescales.
- Liaise with Service Advisors, Technicians and Workshop Controllers to obtain accurate repair information.
- Monitor outstanding warranty claims and investigate rejected or unpaid submissions.
- Maintain accurate warranty records, documentation and reporting.
- Carry out internal warranty audits and identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure warranty parts are stored and documented in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
- Support retailer teams by providing guidance on warranty policies and procedures.
- Keep up to date with manufacturer warranty bulletins and policy updates.
- Work closely with Accounts regarding credit notes and warranty payments.
- Promote process efficiency while maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an automotive warranty administration or warranty executive role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty and goodwill procedures.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
