Night Shift Vehicle Technician / Nightshift Mechanic Location: Glasgow Salary: £34,000 Basic Salary OTE: £43,100-£46,300, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am (40 hours per week) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent   Looking for a role that offers excellent earning potential, a four-night working week and the opportunity to develop your career with a prestigious automotive brand?   This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician or experienced Mechanic to join an established Audi workshop in Glasgow. Working alongside three experienced technicians, you'll benefit from manufacturer-accredited training, EV training and genuine opportunities for career progression, all while enjoying a four-night working week.   What's in it for You? ·£34,000 basic salary. ·OTE of £43,100-£46,300, depending on experience. ·Four-night working week, Monday to Thursday. ·Permanent, full-time position. ·Manufacturer-accredited training and development. ·EV and hybrid vehicle training opportunities. ·Career progression within an established dealership. ·Opportunity to work alongside an experienced team.   The Role As a Night Shift Vehicle Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and roadworthy, delivering high standards of workmanship throughout the workshop. Your responsibilities will include: ·Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology. ·Completing vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements. ·Undertaking additional mechanical and electrical repairs once authorised. ·Carrying out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures. ·Completing accurate and detailed job cards and all relevant paperwork. ·Conducting road tests to confirm repairs have been completed successfully. ·Maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency and health and safety.   About You ·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. ·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician. ·Experience within a main dealership or independent garage. ·Confident carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. ·Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills. ·A full UK driving licence. ·A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work.   Apply Today   If you're a qualified Vehicle Technician or experienced Mechanic looking for a night shift opportunity with competitive earnings, a four-day working week and excellent training opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.   Don't worry if your CV isn't up to date.
