Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking for a new opportunity with an early finish and excellent overtime potential?

We are recruiting for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy and professional commercial vehicle service department. This is a central role, acting as the key link between customers, the workshop and the wider service team.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers both face-to-face and over the telephone, ensuring they receive a professional and efficient service throughout their vehicle's journey.

The Role:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers
  • Book vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Liaise closely with Workshop Technicians and Service Teams
  • Keep customers updated on vehicle progress and repair requirements
  • Prepare and manage job cards
  • Assist with administration and invoicing
  • Provide accurate information on parts, repairs and labour times
  • Promote additional products and services where appropriate
  • Ensure customer expectations are managed effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence when speaking with customers and upselling additional work
  • Good understanding of vehicle parts and repair processes
  • Ability to understand labour times and book times
  • Good IT and administration skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • Commercial vehicle experience would be advantageous
