The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
- Achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis
- Following manufacturer and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining workshop equipment and a safe working environment
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
- Speaking with customers where required to assist with technical explanations
- Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care
About You
You'll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
- MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
