The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring every vehicle is completed efficiently and right first time. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Completing repairs in line with manufacturer standards
  • Performing vehicle health checks and reporting additional work
  • Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
  • Road testing vehicles where required
  • Working closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship at all times

About You

You will ideally have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working to manufacturer standards
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Your own tools and toolbox
  • A Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work
