Are you an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to join their successful and growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys fault finding, technical problem solving and complex vehicle repairs whilst benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training, excellent earning potential and genuine career progression.
This role would suit a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician who thrives on identifying and resolving complex electrical and mechanical faults and takes pride in delivering first-time fixes.

- Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults
- Carry out advanced fault finding using manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
- Utilise oscilloscopes, multimeters and specialist testing equipment where required
- Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose engine management, drivability and electrical system faults
- Carry out repairs including cambelts, timing chains, clutch replacements and major mechanical work
- Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements
- Complete road tests, calibrations and quality control inspections
- Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time
- Maintain high levels of workshop productivity and technical excellence
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and software
- Electrical diagnostic experience highly advantageous
- Passion for technical problem solving and continuous development
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
