THE ROLE
As Bodyshop Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Accident Repair Centre, ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting the Bodyshop team to achieve daily targets
- Conducting daily morning meetings and allocating workload
- Managing vehicles entering the repair centre and those currently on-site
- Working closely with the Regional Manager to monitor workflow and repair progress
- Ensuring parts are ordered in advance and stock levels are effectively managed
- Maintaining accurate repair documentation and ensuring complete job packs
- Monitoring repair quality throughout every stage of the process
- Ensuring excellent customer communication and accurate repair updates
- Promoting a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment
- Supporting the development and performance of the team
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Manager, Accident Repair Centre Manager or Workshop Manager
- Strong understanding of vehicle accident repair processes
- Experience managing workshop teams and workloads
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Good IT and technology skills
- A strong focus on quality, customer service and efficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, team-focused approach
