Are you an experienced PSV Technician looking for a new opportunity with excellent pay, a late shift pattern and ongoing career development? We are currently recruiting for a skilled PSV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop team based in Bishop's Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician to work on a fleet of buses and coaches, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards. The successful candidate will join the late shift team and play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, efficiently and ready for operation.
The Role:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
- Complete routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections
- Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation
- Respond to vehicle defects and breakdowns where required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to company and DVSA standards
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle, PSV or equivalent
- Previous experience as a PSV Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of vehicle safety and compliance requirements
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- PSV Licence advantageous but not essential
