THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring every repair meets manufacturer and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing repaired vehicles and panels for paint application.
- Mixing and colour matching paints to achieve an accurate factory finish.
- Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat using modern spray-painting techniques.
- Carrying out polishing, rectification and final quality inspections where required.
- Working closely with Panel Beaters and MET Technicians to ensure an efficient repair process.
- Maintaining spray booths, equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- Following manufacturer specifications and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician who takes pride in producing outstanding paint finishes and enjoys working within a fast-paced Bodyshop environment. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Paint Refinisher within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
- A recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ, IMI, SVQ or ATA) or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent colour matching and paint application skills.
- Strong knowledge of modern refinishing techniques and paint systems.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
