Salary: £34,000 to £54,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00

Location: Birmingham

Polisher Details: Car body Paint Polisher required for full time vacancy. You will be familiar with prepping cars for painting and the process within the accident repair centre. Must have experience of working with A class high end vehicles and demonstrate a superior quality of prepping and finishing.

Responsibilities:

  • Polish vehicles to a high standard
  • Restoring, correcting, and protecting vehicle paintwork
  • Buffing out scratches and swirl marks, rectifying paint defects (like runs or dust nibs), and applying protective coatings to achieve a high-gloss, factory-standard finish

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced Vehicle Paint Prepper / Polisher with a stable history, ideally holding a City Guilds qualification or equivalent.
  • ATA qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • At least 5 years experience working with high end cars if no formal qualifications.
  • Demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
