THE ROLE

As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out panel repairs on damaged vehicles
  • Removing and replacing damaged body panels and components
  • Realigning vehicle structures using specialist repair equipment
  • Repairing dents, creases, and bodywork damage to manufacturer standards
  • Following approved repair methods and workshop procedures
  • Preparing repaired panels for the refinishing process
  • Ensuring all repairs are completed within agreed timescales
  • Working collaboratively with estimators, painters, and workshop colleagues

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop environment
  • Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development
  • Strong understanding of modern vehicle body repair techniques
  • Experience working within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
