THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out panel repairs on damaged vehicles
- Removing and replacing damaged body panels and components
- Realigning vehicle structures using specialist repair equipment
- Repairing dents, creases, and bodywork damage to manufacturer standards
- Following approved repair methods and workshop procedures
- Preparing repaired panels for the refinishing process
- Ensuring all repairs are completed within agreed timescales
- Working collaboratively with estimators, painters, and workshop colleagues
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience within an accident repair centre or Bodyshop environment
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle body repair techniques
- Experience working within a Bodyshop or accident repair environment
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with a team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
