Responsibilities of an MOT Tester:
- Testing tyres, wheel alignment, exhausts, batteries, welding, cutting
- Basic and advanced knowledge of suspension and brakes
- Ensure that all deadlines are met, making sure all vehicles are tested in accordance with legal standards.
Skills and Qualifications of an MOT Tester:
- Valid MOT Licence Class 4
- MUST hold a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- MUST hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence – subject to driver's check
