The Role
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.
- Straightening chassis and body structures using specialist alignment equipment.
- Removing and refitting panels and structural components where required.
- Carrying out welding, filling and metal finishing to achieve a high-quality repair.
- Working closely with Paint Sprayers and MET Technicians to ensure an efficient repair process.
- Identifying any additional damage and communicating repair requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship while achieving productivity targets.
