Are you a skilled welder with a passion for craftsmanship? At E-ppl we are looking for Welders to support our customer. We are looking for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder to join our fabrication team in Malvern.
Location: Malvern, Worcestershire
Employment Type: Contract
Rate: £20 per hour outside IR35
Responsibilities:
- Precision Welding: Perform high-standard TIG and MIG welding, primarily aluminium and mild steel
- Fabrication: Read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate components from scratch or using jigs
- Quality Control: Ensure all welds meet structural integrity standards and the aesthetic requirements of a luxury motor vehicle
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider production and engineering teams to ensure seamless assembly
- Maintenance: Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean working environment in line with health and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Significant experience in both TIG welding (automotive or aerospace background is a plus)
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings
- Fine Motor Skills: A "steady hand" and an eye for the aesthetic finish of a weld
- Material Knowledge: Experience working with thin-gauge materials and aluminium
- Team Spirit: A positive attitude and a pride in your craft
