The Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused individual to support operations at a well-established automotive customer site. In this role you will be responsible for the picking and coordination of test parts, ensuring accurate handling, tracking, and movement of components throughout the warehouse process. Strong computer skills are important, ideally with experience using systems such as Excel and SAP to manage stock records and maintain clear traceability. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A Reach Fork Lift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential. We require all candidates to possess a valid right to work in the UK without restrictions and to undergo a standard criminal record check (DBS). Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience or equivalent work, preferably within an automotive manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse stock control software systems
- Experience of goods in and out
- Experience of stock counting and picking
- Computer literate to accurately record data with good knowledge and experience of Excel and SAP
- Traceability of parts movements across the warehouse
- Excellent attention to detail
- A valid B1 Counterbalance FLT Licence is essential (must be a valid licence still in date with recent experience)
Working Hours: 07:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 11:00 Friday (07:00 – 14:30 may occasionally be required depending on workload)
