Contractor Position Outside IR35 – £18.00 per hour

E-ppl are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. We are a specialist contractor who OEM\’s call on to support their projects. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.

We are looking for a highly talented welder to join our team. Your chief responsibilities will include interpreting designs, monitoring machinery, and assessing welded components. The successful candidate will also have a steady hand and outstanding attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute welds accurately
• In-depth knowledge of welding standards, welding processes, welding techniques and their requirements
• Perform welding on components using a variety of materials
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely to ensure optimum performance
• Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines
• Ensure working environment is clean, organised and meets safety standards

Requirements

• Hold BS EN ISO 9606-1 welder qualification
• Minimum 3 years\’ experience as a coded welder
• Good dexterity and strong attention to detail

Benefits

• £18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
• Hours of work are Monday – Friday
• Possible weekend overtime with premium rate
• Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company – Outside of IR35
