Whats on offer to an MOT Tester:
- Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm
- Saturday - 1 in 3 - 8am-12pm
- Salary between £32,000 - £38,000
- Monthly bonus up to 10% of salary
- 20-22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
Key Responsibilities of a MOT Tester:
- You will be required to carry out MOT Testing on a daily basis.
- Used Car Prep
- PDI Checks
- Small repairs - No heavy mechanical fixes
- Working on a 4 Poster Ramp
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
- Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
- Keeping up to date MOT Testing records
- Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed.
MOT Tester Requirements:
- MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification to Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- MUST hold a current and valid MOT Tester Certificate for call 4 & 7.
- Hold a full valid driver license - No major convictions IN10, DD, or DR.
