- Full Time/permanent
- Β£34,000 - Β£45,000 per year. (Dependent on experience)
- Fantastic and achievable performance bonus
- Monday β Friday (8:30am - 6pm)
- Saturday mornings will be required on a rota basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
- Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
- General maintenance and repairs
- Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
- MOT Testing if you have the required certification
- Suspension work
- Repairs on lights
- Repairing and replacing exhausts
- Repairing and replacing clutches
- Dealing with gearboxes
- MOT prep and Post MOT repairs
- Wheel alignment
- Repairing and replacing steering racks
- Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- MUST have an NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 2 or Level 3 accepted with a minimum of 3 years services
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence.
- MOT Test certificate
- F Gas accreditation desirable but not essential
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles essential but not essential.
- Previous garage experience required
