Mobile Vehicle Technician

Vehicle Technician\\n\\n * 42.5 – 45 hours a week\\n\\n * Monday – Friday + alternating Saturdays\\n\\n * 8am to 5:30pm with 1 hour break\\n\\n * Alternating Saturdays 8am-1pm\\n\\n * Salary between £30,000 – £42,500\\n\\n * Performance Related Bonus\\n\\n * 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)\\n\\n * Pension Scheme & Life Assurance\\n\\n * Privilege vehicle purchase scheme\\n\\n * Discount on Service, Bodyshop and Parts\\n\\nKey Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:\\n\\n * Carry out services on specific makes and models of vehicles\\n\\n * Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles – such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation\\n\\n * Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment\\n\\n * General maintenance and repairs\\n\\n * Carrying out MOT Tests (If qualified to do so)\\n\\n * Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)\\n\\n * Suspension work\\n\\n * Repairs on lights\\n\\n * Repairing and replacing exhausts\\n\\n * Repairing and replacing clutches\\n\\n * Dealing with gearboxes\\n\\n * Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.\\n\\n * Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed\\n\\nVehicle Technician Requirements:\\n\\n * NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services\\n\\n * Hold a full valid driver license.\\n\\n * Hold a valid MOT Tester certificate – beneficial but not essential
