- Basic Salary: £38,000 - £47,000 depending on experience/qualifications
- Hours: Monday – Friday (7:00am - 5:00pm - 1 hour break)
- 1 in 4 Saturdays Required
The Role of a Paint Sprayer:
- Paint preparation of the vehicle – masking and prepping if required
- Spray painting required vehicles using water based paints
- Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match
- Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly
- Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
- Paint Mixing to ensure a perfect match in order to spray
- Quality Control/Inspection check on completion ensuring there are no defects
- Using the correct equipment and tooling as required
- Achieving an ongoing high rate of productivity.
Qualifications required of a Paint Sprayer:
- ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified Vehicle Paint Spraying or time served within a Vehicle Paint Sprayer role.
- Full valid driving licence
- Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre
