MET Technicians Required

What we’re offering MET Technicians:

  • Full time / Permanent.
  • Monday - Friday (7am - 5pm)
  • Between £22 - 24 per hour

Previous experience is essential.

The Role of an MET Technician Responsibilities include:

  • Must have experience in stripping and refitting a variety of makes and models of vehicle.
  • Carry out diagnostic checks on vehicles.
  • Geometry Wheel Alignment.
  • Suspension and mechanical duties.
  • Stripping and fitting vehicles before and after paint.
  • Stripping and fitting bumpers and doors.
  • Repairing interior plastics and seats.
  • Repairing exterior plastics.
  • Experience with ADAS systems – desirable but not essential.
  • Repairing windscreens – desirable but not essential.
  • Repairing, stripping and fitting dashboards.
  • Dealing with wiring throughout the car.

Requirements of an MET Technician:

  • ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified MET Technician or time served within an MET Technician role.
  • Full valid driving licence.
  • Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre or with prestige vehicles would be desirable.
