Basic Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Duties of a Parts Advisor:

  • Advising customers of the correct parts they require for their vehicle
  • Taking orders over the phone or by email
  • Checking availability of parts via system or physically in the warehouse
  • Picking parts from the warehouse for technicians and customers
  • Ordering parts via phone and online systems
  • Supplying quotes
  • Arranging deliveries to customers or workshops
  • Dealing with payments
  • Raising invoices and issuing receipts
  • Managing parts returns of unwanted or incorrect stock
  • Putting stock away and updating records
  • Managing old unit returns

Requirements of a Parts Advisor:

  • 3+ years of Automotive Parts Advisor experience within a bodyshop or main dealership environment
  • Skilled in using Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Have an eye for detail to ensure stock levels are always at required levels
  • Excellent customer service skills
