We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller with an established, rapidly expanding business offering an immediate challenge and strong potential for career progression within the Motor industry. The role will primarily be responsible for contributing to the financial operation and the overall timeliness of group reporting for 8 Dealerships and 1 Preparation Centre across the UK.

  • Contributing to the day-to-day financial control and the preparation of monthly accounts for consolidation, as well as the annual audit.
  • Responsible for the management of the balance sheet and working capital including cash collection and forecasting.
  • Providing financial support and guidance to senior management members and other colleagues, as required.
  • Ad hoc projects.

You will be an experienced motor retail accounting professional able to demonstrate progression and achievement in their career to date. Demonstrate strong technical competency in the delivery and development of monthly and year end reporting. Strong commercial acumen capable of understanding the business, its objectives and how the finance function can support the business in meeting targets. Excellent experience in cash management and forecasting. Experience with DMS systems and their development would be advantageous.
