Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Welder/Fabricator based in Coatbridge, with some flexibility for remote work. The primary responsibilities include performing various welding tasks, fabricating components, reading blueprints or technical drawings, and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. Collaboration with team members and proactive contribution to projects will also be part of the daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Welding techniques such as Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding
- Knowledge of materials and metalworking, including handling and shaping materials effectively
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate in a hybrid work environment
- Prior experience in welding or fabrication roles is advantageous
- Relevant vocational training or certification in welding techniques is preferred
