In this role, you'll make a lasting impact - helping create safer roads by confidently guiding students of all ages through positive, professional instruction.
Hourly Pay: $24.50/hour - $26.00/hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week. Weekdays: Start between 11:30am-1:00pm, work an 8-hour shift. Weekends: Minimum one day, starting as early as 7:00am for an 8-hour shift.

What You'll Do:
- Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA's curriculum and training standards
- Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress
- Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance
- Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation
- Travel within a 50-mile radius as needed; a company vehicle with paid gas, maintenance, and insurance is provided
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry
- Confidence working with the public, especially teens
- A strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits
- Flexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbs
- Must be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience
- Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
The starting pay range for this position is $24.50 – $26.00 per hour. Additionally, after completion of your first year in the role, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon your team and individual performance.
