We are seeking a strategic, accountable, and results-driven Program Manager – Driver Services to steer multi-site driving school operations and accelerate enrollment growth, operational excellence, service quality, and overall business performance in a fully onsite role requiring regular presence at program locations to support team leadership, collaboration, and maintain strong day-to-day momentum.
This role is responsible for leading a team of supervisors, instructors, and support staff while ensuring the successful execution of driver education programs across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic & Business Performance
- Drive operational and financial performance using data, performance metrics, and continuous process improvement.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators including enrollment growth, instructor productivity, service quality, and overall operational performance.
- Translate insights into clear action plans with measurable outcomes.
- Identify performance gaps, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions with urgency while demonstrating ownership and accountability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization efforts to improve business performance.
- Operational Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor and develop supervisors, instructors and support staff while setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability, member focus, and operational excellence.
- Implement procedures, standards, staffing plans, and resource allocation practices that ensure consistency, efficiency, productivity, and timely execution across multiple locations.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Effectively communicate business performance, operational trends, and improvement opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Technology, Analytics & Process Improvement
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and present findings to leadership.
- Lead operational improvement initiatives and manage projects from planning through implementation.
- Regulatory Compliance & Safety
- Support adherence to applicable state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and company policies.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to maintain proper policies, documentation, and instructor certifications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of leadership experience, preferably in operations, service, education, training, customer service, or other performance-driven environments.
- Experience leading supervisors, managers, or other leadership positions preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance through accountability, process improvement, and effective implementation.
- Experience interpreting operational and financial performance metrics and using data to support business decisions.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, drive initiatives to completion, and consistently follow through on commitments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
- Strong Excel skills required, including the ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, create reports, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Advanced leadership, coaching, team development, organizational communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel preferred.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed to support operations and attend meetings.
- Valid Driver License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record, and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance required.
The starting pay range for this position is: $109,500.00 - $146,200.00. Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
