Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with check-in/checkout processes – provide excellent customer service and communication with pet owners.
- Follow individual feeding schedules and care instructions for each dog.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness through frequent cleaning and disinfecting of rooms, outdoor runs, playrooms and outdoor yards.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, beds, toys and play equipment daily, laundry as needed.
- Complete multiple daily walks (approximately 1 km per walk) for several dogs.
- Monitor for signs of illness, injury, stress, or anxiety and report concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding dog behavior, health, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments.
- Willing to get dirty (cleaning, accidents, shedding, mud etc. are part of the job).
- Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Confident setting boundaries and maintaining structure with dogs.
- Available weekends and evenings.
