Job Description: Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds and buildings.

Qualifications

  • Experience: One (1) year experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
  • Education: Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
  • Licenses:
    • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
    • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Other Education and Training:
    • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
    • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job
    • Pool Operator certificate, where required
  • Competencies:
    • Basic - Computer skills
    • Organizational skills
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Communication skills
  • Knowledge and Abilities:
    • Ability to work independently
    • Knowledge of tools and equipment

Additional Comment: No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
