The Director of Operations is responsible for leading operational execution across procurement, inventory management, sales support, business systems, and data analysis.

This role works closely across all functions across the organization to ensure operational efficiency.

The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership while supporting day-to-day operational needs, helping drive consistent execution across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Supply Chain Management
  • Lead procurement activities to ensure product availability and optimal costing.
  • Optimize inventory levels across all locations through strategic planning and inventory management.
  • Conduct product forecasting to support seasonal demand and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to improve service, availability, and pricing.
  • Sales & Operational Support
  • Work to ensure product supply strategy aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Work with location teams in executing sales and operational plans across all locations.
  • Review sales performance to identify opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Business Systems & Reconciliation Support
  • Provide support for supplier account reconciliation activities.
  • Review systems and processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and process guides.
  • Streamline one-off processes by creating standardized workflows where appropriate.
  • Business Analytics & Performance Reporting
  • Lead operational data analysis to support informed business decisions.
  • Monitor forecast execution and identify variances requiring operational adjustments.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide meaningful operational insights.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align operational activities with company goals.
