Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Food Services Cook/Clerk at our TJs/ Chester-Fried Chicken in our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan.
- Reporting to the TJs/ Chesters Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain accurately to guests.
- Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner, pack food for takeout.
- Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
- Check and monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift.
- Use Point of Sale system (POS) to record orders, compute the amount of bill and make change.
- Use a variety of manual, electric and other appliances, and food preparation tools/equipment.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- You have experience with food preparation and food safety or are willing to learn.
- You have the ability to fulfill the physical job requirement including standing for entire shirt and lifting up to 50 lbs.
