Autism West Midlands, the leading provider of autism specialist services in the West Midlands, is offering an exciting opportunity to support the development of several services. Based at our Head Office in Selly Oak and our supported living/residential services in the West Midlands area, you will be responsible for managing a number of CQC registered managers across a range of supported living and residential services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career and expand their skills in project management, personalised support practices, and positive behaviour support. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • The management and motivation of leadership of a group of Managers across residential and supported living services.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and driving your team to succeed and push services to achieve a CQC ‘Outstanding’.
  • Conducting audits, monitoring and reviewing the services' progress against service development plans, and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Being a contributing member of Autism West Midlands Leadership Team who meet quarterly to discuss strategy, the operational plan, and provide updates on key service initiatives.
  • Playing a lead role in negotiations with commissioning bodies on fees and contracts, as well as addressing any safeguarding issues that may arise that require a higher level of input.

We are looking for an experienced social care professional, with previous experience of being a registered manager, preferably in an autism and/or learning disabilities care and support environment.
