Autism Unlimited is looking for a Communications & Fundraising Officer to help amplify our voice, grow our impact, and support autistic children and young people to thrive. This role would be working four days per week on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven charity where your ideas, creativity, and initiative will directly support life-changing services. We are really looking to appeal to someone who has a keen interest in fundraising and communications.
A day in the life of a Communications & Fundraising Officer would include:
- Creating and distributing engaging internal and external communications
- Designing and delivering social media and online content, including short videos, posters, and graphics
- Drafting and uploading stories that promote our services, fundraising efforts, and organisational news
- Acting as the first point of contact for school and sixth form communications
- Managing the Autism Unlimited website ensuring content is fresh and up to date
- Supporting the Fundraising Manager with preparing for events, communication with volunteers, content material to promote events and potential donations
Our Ideal Applicant Will Have:
- Degree level qualification in marketing - desirable
- 2+ years background within a marketing role
- Skills using various programmes including Office 365, Canva Premiere Pro, MailChimp, Adobe, Eventbrite and social media platforms
