The role:

  • As a School Musician, you bring music to life across the school community.
  • Through creativity, empathy, and a passion for inclusion, you help shape a rich and meaningful musical experience for every student.
  • You deliver inspiring and accessible music sessions, offering opportunities to explore a wide range of instruments and musical styles.
  • Sessions are thoughtfully adapted to meet the diverse strengths, needs, and interests of students, ensuring that everyone can take part, express themselves, and feel a sense of achievement.
  • You lead on music enrichment across the school, creating a safe and encouraging space where students can build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their own musical voice.
  • Whether through collaborative projects, informal performances, or creative exploration, you nurture a sense of belonging and joy through music.
  • Beyond the classroom, you support students to take part in school and wider charity performances, helping them prepare for and share their talents in ways that feel positive and empowering.
  • You also bring strong knowledge and hands-on experience in music technology, enabling students to engage with recording equipment, studio tools, and digital production.
  • By making full use of a well-resourced music studio, you open up new ways for students to create, experiment, and succeed.
