Our multidisciplinary therapy team works together to provide holistic, person-centred support, empowering children and adults with autism and associated needs to live fulfilling, more independent lives.
A day in the life of Occupational Therapy will include
- Collaborating with our OT team, education staff and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated therapeutic support.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and reviewing tailored interventions that make a meaningful difference.
- Promoting best practice through training, mentoring and staff coaching.
- Contributing to reviews and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure a person‑centred approach.
- Maintaining accurate, professional case notes and reports.
- Playing an active role in developing and enhancing the OT service.
