This part‑time role (22 hours per week) involves supporting seven residents—three women and four men—each living comfortably in their own self‑contained flat. A Genuine Occupational Requirement applies under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. This role is therefore only open to females, referring to the sex legally assigned at birth.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide day‑to‑day support tailored to the needs of each individual. If you’re compassionate, reliable, and eager to help others, we’d love to hear from you! This role is perfect for someone with a warm, caring approach and a keen eye for detail—someone who enjoys staying active and is passionate about empowering others to live more independently.

Hours

This role would include a range of shifts between 7 am and 10 pm. You would be required to work alternate weekends and provide sleep‑ins (sleep‑ins come with an additional payment).

  • Sharing your skills and life knowledge with the people we support to enable good life skills and independence when living in the community.
  • Maintaining consistent and accurate records regarding care plans, finances, appointments and medication.
  • Following the support plan for each person we support to enable the person to feel comfortable and happy, adapting this as required based on changes in behaviour.
