We are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to support one of our Wallasey Services. This service provides intensive support to individuals within a residential setting providing care on a one-to-one basis to enhance general life skills. The postholder will assist the Operational Service Manager to provide sound leadership and day to day running of the staff team to deliver a person centric service and deliver innovative strategies to meet the needs of our People.
The role involves first line leadership to our care heroes to achieve lifelong careers with the Charity. What you will be doing…
- To ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to the people.
- To lead a team of support workers to establish and maintain a high standard of care practice within the Residential Services.
- Ensure an effective, responsive, caring and safe service for the individuals we support.
- Actively promote an autism-specific culture through effective work practices and identify any additional support needs.
- To ensure accurate records and reporting systems.

Hours of work
Typically, within the hours of 7.30 till 10pm. The postholder will be expected to provide management cover across a 7-day period covering weekends, and this will form part of your normal contracted hours.
