We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team on a bank basis. In this flexible role, you will be responsible for serving customers in our shop and café, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and supporting and mentoring trainees.

Responsibilities
- Serve customers in the shop and café, providing excellent customer service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till.
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Support trainees in their day-to-day tasks, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Restock shelves and manage inventory as needed.
- Cover weekend shifts and be available to cover annual leave and sickness as required.
Requirements
- Previous retail or café experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and patient attitude, with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work weekends and cover shifts for annual leave and sickness.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
