Overview
We are seeking Part-Time & Full-Time Support Workers to join our team. You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living, accessing work/education and leisure activities. At Autism Initiatives we work alongside people with autism, providing specialist services tailored to each individual. Given the nature of the role, these positions are subject to an enhanced Access NI check for the successful applicants, the cost of which will be met by the organisation. Responsibilities
- Deliver support to people who use our services, helping develop independence in daily living, support with accessing work/education and engagement in leisure activities.
- Work on a rota basis that may include unsocial hours and weekends, with flexibility across various services.
- Provide care and/or support knowledge as required and appropriate.
- Be compliant with regulatory requirements (e.g., NISCC) and apply for registration if not already registered.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Working, voluntary or personal knowledge of providing care and/or support.
- NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
- Desirable: A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of one year.
