We are seeking a Full-Time Waking Night Duty Support Worker (40hrs) to join our team. You will work alongside people who use our services, supporting in a range of activities, including developing independence in daily living, accessing work/education and leisure activities.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a team, sharing responsibility fairly and being supportive of others, promoting a team approach and being courteous to all team members and visitors.
  • Register with NISCC within the first month of employment and be fully registered with NISCC before the end of your six month probation period. Provide a copy of your NISCC certificate to the HR department.
  • Project a positive image and reputation of Autism Initiatives in your dealings with internal and external stakeholders and the public. Ensure, by your actions, the on-going confidence of the public by not bringing the organisation into disrepute.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Working, voluntary or personal knowledge of providing care and/or support.
  • Be flexible to work on a rota basis that includes job rotation in various services, unsocial hours and weekends.
  • NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
  • Full UK Driving Licence held for a manual vehicle for at least one year.
