We are seeking friendly Support Workers to join our service in the Gateacre/Belle Vale area of Liverpool. This is a Supported Living service for 3 people supported in a 3 bedroom property The people supported enjoy accessing their local community. We are seeking Support Workers who will work alongside the manager, staff team and people supported, who will provide autism specialist support that contributes to the people we support achieving quality of life.

Your role as a Support Worker will be central in supporting people we support in a personalised way in order to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will be required to work with, and under direction of the Service Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring all support needs are met in a personalised centred manner ensuring all wants, needs, choices are met for the person supported. You will be required to work on a rota basis including evenings, weekends and sleep in duties.

An NVQ or Diploma Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Senior Support Worker. In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.

Given the nature of the role, these positions are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure for the successful applicants. The cost of which will be met by Autism Initiatives.
