Regional Health & Safety and Housing Lead (Isle of Man)
Autism Initiatives are seeking to recruit a Regional Health & Safety and Housing Lead with the expertise and commitment to strengthen and embed Health & Safety culture across our services in the Isle of Man.
You will work in collaboration with the Head of Health & Safety and Head of Service, taking a lead role in the management of compliance standards, processes and training, relating to Health & Safety requirements. As part of your role you will also lead on aspects of Housing compliance which includes co-ordination of repairs and maintenance, inspections and supporting Managers with the management of property and facilities.
You will be an engaging leader, demonstrating our commitment to developing our positive and trusting relationships with stakeholders such as landlords, regulatory bodies and contractors, maintaining our high standards of health and safety practice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of compliance standards and training related to Health & Safety.
- Coordinate housing compliance, repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Engage with teams to provide professional advice on investigations and reporting.
- Travel to services across the Isle of Man and potentially to the Head Office in Bootle.
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years recent and relevant experience in a similar role. You will have demonstrable experience of engaging with teams, providing professional advice and guidance relating to investigations, accident and incident reporting. You will hold a minimum of NEBOSH (General Certificate) and must be able to use relevant IT to analyse and interpret data.
