Cafe Assistant
We are a multi‑award winning café under the Autism Initiatives group, supporting adults with autism in a social enterprise setting. Join our team as a full‑time Café Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake foods and desserts in large volumes to meet customer demand.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding the café’s high standards.
- Work rota‑based shifts, including weekends.
- Assist in supporting autistic staff with work‑based learning, including customer service and food/drink preparation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in café or food service is preferred.
- Food Hygiene Certificate a plus, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under a rota.
- Commitment to supporting people with autism.
