Cafe Assistant

We are a multi‑award winning café under the Autism Initiatives group, supporting adults with autism in a social enterprise setting. Join our team as a full‑time Café Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake foods and desserts in large volumes to meet customer demand.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding the café’s high standards.
  • Work rota‑based shifts, including weekends.
  • Assist in supporting autistic staff with work‑based learning, including customer service and food/drink preparation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in café or food service is preferred.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under a rota.
  • Commitment to supporting people with autism.
