A Great Little Place is a multi-award winning Café in Southport who bake and create delicious food and sumptuous cakes in their own kitchens. It is a Social enterprise owned by Autism Initiatives, where the team share a passion for supporting adults with Autism in work. We are currently recruiting for a full time Café Assistant in the Southport area, on a permanent basis.

Ideally, you will be competent and confident baking and preparing home cooked food in greater volumes, or be able to provide a service which exceeds customer expectations.

You will be required to work on a rota basis including weekends.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service is crucial. A Food and Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage although not essential.

As part of this role our Café Assistants also contribute to supporting autistic people with work based learning placements within the café. This will include customer service skills and preparation of food and drinks.
